All surgery and procedures carry some degree of risk. Team Beleza partners only with hospitals, surgeons, and clinics that meet the highest national and international standards appropriate to the type of service.
Our Safety Partners at a Glance
- ISAPS (International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery) is the world’s leading professional body for board-certified aesthetic plastic surgeons.
The ISAPS membership community includes over 5,000 of the world’s most respected aesthetic and reconstructive surgeons in 117 countries, with many members practicing in São Paulo. - According to the latest ISAPS Global Survey (2024 data, released 2025), Brazil leads the world in surgical cosmetic procedures, with over 2.35 million performed annually — representing about 13–14% of the global total.
This leadership is backed by high standards when procedures are performed by board-certified specialists.
That’s why Team Beleza only forwards surgeon candidates who are ISAPS members. - To become an ISAPS member, a Brazilian surgeon must first be SBCP-certified (Sociedade Brasileira de Cirurgia Plástica) — Brazil’s official board for plastic surgeons.
To earn SBCP certification, a surgeon completes medical school + 3 years general surgery + 3 years specialized plastic surgery residency + rigorous exams.
It’s the national gold standard for expertise and ethics in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.
The surgeon candidates presented by Team Beleza come only from those with both ISAPS membership and SBCP recognition. - ANVISA-certified clinics — ANVISA (Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária) is Brazil’s national health authority (think FDA + EPA rolled into one).
It registers every medical device, filler, and product used in clinics and requires every legitimate aesthetic facility to hold a valid sanitary operating license.
We only work with ANVISA-certified clinics — ensuring approved products, proper hygiene, and safe practices from day one.
Complementary Beauty & Wellness Services
While you’re in Brazil for your glow-up, you may want to round out your package with complementary beauty and wellness services such as hair styling, extensions, coloring, nail care, manicures/pedicures, massage, lymphatic drainage, tanning, eyebrow/eyelash treatments, facials, body scrubs, waxing, professional makeup sessions, and other pampering extras.
These non-medical, low-risk services are regulated by local sanitary guidelines and the use of ANVISA-registered products (ensuring safe cosmetics, dyes, polishes, and formulations).
We only recommend well-established providers with strong reputations, long track records of excellence, and consistently positive feedback from international clients — so you can relax and enjoy every part of your transformation.
